Wall Painting Part 1

I haven't abandoned this just yet... :s

I've given myself a bigger project - a wall mural! I was getting a bit bored of the beige walls in the craft room, and I was being very indecisive of what colour to paint the room. So, I thought I'd paint it with all colours!  I was originally just going to paint a henna inspired design in brown on the wall... but realistically I was never going to stick to brown....

I've been painting a little bit after work each day, so definitely haven't been getting this one done as quickly as all my other little projects.
So... Step by Step so far!

To be continued... I wonder how much bigger it will get!

These little feller's are proving quite popular!

Many of the things that I make for people through Lillypots are personalised, especially all of the mugs and cups that I paint. Sometimes we go to little fairs and people ask me to paint specific things on greeting cards for them, which is always fun as some people have very funny ideas. Most of the time though, I make a few and then see how popular they are to sell.

These are some of the most popular, fresh off the Lillypots production line.

Inspired by Ellie

Over the last few weeks I've started a few things and then not finished many of them. I call this "too - many - ideas - not - enough - hours - in - the - day " syndrome...

There may be a few post's today, trying to catch up with everything that I've started.

Firstly though, for all those fellow fans of Pixar's UP, I was looking through some pictures online of fan art and one family had painted the same mural on their chimney as Ellie Fredricksen had. I love this idea! But I didn't want to paint it directly onto the wall because I still have some decoration ideas that I want to try out in the living room.
Instead, I painted it on a large canvas... which, when I tried to take it off the shelf at the shop, I may have completely dismantled the entire display, knocking everything that was on the canvas table onto the floor... cringe!!

I love all the "higgledy piggledy" style of the paintings that they present throughout the film!
