Sunday Sewing

Today I made an "over-the-shoulder-but-also-bumbag" in preparation for a festival I'm going to this week. I've designed it so that it's a tight close, so nothing can go missing when I'm walking around (hopefully), and also made sure that the separate pocket is big enough for a festival essential ... my spare beer. 

Everything except the lining is recycled from an old Iron Maiden bag that "he" had when he was younger (I should've taken a "before" picture. Watch this space though, I'm hoping to use the Iron Maiden logo for something else). Fortunately for me, it's thick black denim, so this bag should be pretty sturdy and long lasting. 
My dearest modelled it for me, so the "over-the-shoulder" way of wearing it looks a little out of proportion.. (also, the lining seems to be pulling funny faces in these pictures... It's definitely my bag!)
